Chris Hoffman

Chris Hoffman is a lifelong humanitarian and social innovator who has worked in crisis zones across more than 40 countries over two decades. After witnessing how burnout and trauma undermine the humanitarian sector’s impact, Chris stepped back to focus on reimagining how aid is delivered—placing client well-being and dignity at the center.

As founder and CEO of Humanity Link, Chris connects cutting-edge tech companies with humanitarian organizations to co-create transformative solutions—from AI-driven tools to cash distribution and digital identity systems. His work partners with major agencies like the Red Cross and IOM to make humanitarian aid more effective, resilient, and human-centered.

Chris’s global journey began early, living and working in communities across Zimbabwe, Brazil, and Mozambique before the age of 17. A former Peace Corps volunteer and senior leader at the UN and World Vision, he also previously led contemplative resilience programs for aid workers.

He lives in the Netherlands with his wife Wakanyi and their four children.
